Dr Kath Whitton is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a longstanding interest in fertility. She is a calm and compassionate doctor who prides herself on providing individualised care for all couples and individuals she cares for. Along with providing fertility care and treatment, she performs gynaecological surgery and pregnancy care through to delivery at North Shore Private Hospital.

Kath studied postgraduate Medicine at the University of Sydney after returning home from living and working in Switzerland. She completed her specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology through Royal North Shore, Gosford, Hornsby, and Northern Beaches Hospitals.

Kath completed the UNSW Masters of Reproductive Medicine, and along with completing her Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI) with IVF Australia, has a demonstrated dedication to the field. She is actively involved in research and medical student teaching, and has special interests in adolescent gynaecology, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), general infertility and menopause. She continues to work at the Menopause Clinic at Royal North Shore Hospital, and it remains one of the highlights of her week. 

Kath enjoys guiding individuals and couples on their fertility journey to help them achieve their goals of parenthood. She believes in the importance of shared decision making and ensures that her patients feel listened to and empowered in their treatment choices.
