A/Prof Angus Cameron

Associate Professor Angus Cameron is a specialist paediatric dentist and Head of Paediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics at Westmead Hospital. He is also a Visiting Senior Specialist at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
Angus’ areas of interest are the management of paediatric dental trauma, dental and oro-facial anomalies, and paediatric oral medicine and pathology.
Training
After graduating from the University of Sydney in 1984, Angus joined Westmead Hospital as a junior dental officer. He was the first to finish the specialist paediatric dentistry training program and was appointed Head of Department in 1997.
Teaching
Angus is the co-editor of the Handbook of Paediatric Dentistry and has lectured extensively in Australia and internationally. He also chairs the Medical Advisory Committee of City West Specialist Day Hospital.
Memberships
Angus is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in England (FDSRCS), Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (FRACDS), International College of Dentists (FICD) and Academy of Dentistry International (FADI).
